Wolfgang E. Mueller

Managing Partner

Wolfgang E. Mueller was born in Frankfurt am Main (Germany) in 1951. He began his career with a degree in business administration. For 13 years, Wolfgang Mueller served as Chairman of the Management Board of Deutsche Industriewartung AG (DIW) in Stuttgart, a company partially owned by Salamander. In 1997, he joined the Board of Salamander AG in Kornwestheim, where he was later promoted to Chairman. In 2004, Wolfgang Mueller joined SCHOLPP as Managing Partner of the SCHOLPP Services Group, which had a turnover of EUR 50 million at the time. He developed the group into a global provider of installation services and introduced a new strategic approach to the management of the company. As a result, he and his staff achieved a turnover of today EUR 135 million.

Andreas Siegle

Managing Director
PTC PressEngineering GmbH

Andreas Siegle was born in Mainz (Germany) in 1963. He studied to become an automation technology technician and began his career in 1986 when he joined the maintenance department of a press shop in the automotive industry. Later he worked in the development centre and was appointed Head of Electrical Planning in 2001. In 2008, he became the Technical Director of a Kassel-based industrial company. Since October 2013, Andreas Siegle has been the Director of Control Technology at PTC PressEngineering and became an authorized signatory of the company in 2014. Since 2016, Andreas Siegle has been Managing Director of PTC PresseEngineering.

Steffen Kühn

Steffen Kühn was born in Treuenbrietzen (Brandenburg/Germany) in 1967. After training as a mechanical and plant fitter, he studied mechanical engineering in Dresden and Chemnitz, where he specialized in manufacturing. After working as a sales engineer for the British BRIDON Group, Steffen Kühn joined SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH in 1993, also as a sales engineer. He took over the management of this company in 1998. The highlights of his career with SCHOLPP include developing the new lift engineering division in 1994 and the new Cleanroom Move-In® division in 1998. He continued to develop the Chemnitz site and established branches in Dresden, Berlin and Erfurt. He was appointed as the Managing Director of SCHOLPP Montagetechnik GmbH in 2006 and assumed management of eight business units, which he oversaw from the Chemnitz site. At the beginning of 2010, Steffen Kühn was also appointed as Managing Director of SCHOLPP Montage GmbH. In 2011, he was responsible for integrating the installation department of the insolvent Grohmann GmbH into SCHOLPP Montagetechnik. Steffen Kühn was appointed to the Management Board of PTC PressEngineering GmbH in 2015.

Lars Gerlach

Lars Gerlach was born in Kassel (Germany) in 1969. He studied business administration in Marburg and Giessen, and was awarded his degree (Diplom-Kaufmann) in 1997. He joined SCHOLPP in the same year and served as Assistant to Managing Partner Martin Scholpp. In 1999, he set up the company’s central purchasing / insurance / legal / financing department and subsequently took over as Head of Accounting and Controlling in 2001. In 2003, IT and payroll were added to his responsibilities, and he was appointed Commercial Director of the SCHOLPP Group in the same year. In 2005, he became Managing Director of SCHOLPP Kran & Transport GmbH whilst retaining his commercial directorship of the SCHOLPP Group. In October 2006, he assumed overall operational responsibility for SCHOLPP Kran & Transport GmbH. At the beginning of 2010, Lars Gerlach was appointed to the Management Board of SCHOLPP Montage GmbH and given an office at the Frankfurt site. When SCHOLPP Montage GmbH acquired PTC PressEngineering GmbH in 2012, Lars Gerlach was also appointed to the Management Board of PTC PressEngineering GmbH.
